Red Tailed Tropic Bird Monitoring

Oahu Nature Tours has adopted and is monitoring a small colony of Red Tailed Tropic Birds that has returned to Oahu's South shore.

Makapu’u Beach Native Plant Restoration

Oahu Nature Tours removed invasive weed species that are threatening the existence of twenty-one native plant species. Less than 2% of Oahu’s original coastal plant ecosystems remain. This project will insure that one of the last coastal native plant communities will survive.
