Jurassic Park Waterfall Adventure

Rating: 5/5

This adventure will fulfill all your fantasies about Hawaii's lush rainforests, giant ferns, cascading tropical waterfalls, picturesque streams and unique species that can be found nowhere else on Earth. This trail, a hidden treasure that was used by Spielberg while filming "Jurassic Park" and the soon to be released "Jurassic World" leads to the tallest accessible waterfall on Oahu, deep within a prehistoric landscape.

Observe Hawaii's rainforest plants and birds as we walk into a wide valley inside the lush Koolau mountains and visit this secluded waterfall.

On this educational and fun hike you will learn about the Hawaiian's use of various plant species and the area's interesting environmental history.

Excellent photographic opportunities!

PLEASE NOTE: Remember to bring enough water to keep you hydrated! This tour is not suitable for small children. Participants need to be at least five years old.

Do this hike!!
Went on the Jurassic Waterfall hike and loved it. Skye was great and had lots of interesting information. This really was a rainforest tour - it poured the whole time but it didn't matter. The waterfall was spectacular. Recommend getting a poncho if you want to keep a bit drier. Do this if you like nature and hiking.

Tour Review
First, I don't believe I forgot to comment on this tour! The tour in and of itself was unbelievable! Gorgeous scenery and the guide Amanda did a very good job and had plenty of information. The only problem/drawback is that the waterfall wasn't "working" when we were there, and we were only told about this upon arrival of the trail. It was a HUGE letdown since the tour is advertised as a "Jurassic Park Waterfall Adventure Tour"...but aside from that, the tour was very good. I would do it again, provided I was notified that the waterfall part of the tour was "operational" (I know you cant predict rainfall, so its nobody's fault...but I was HOPING to see the waterfall)

Awesome tour!
Waikiki is a great place, but if you want to experience Hawaiian nature, this is a great tour! It was exactly what we were hoping for--lush forest with breathtaking views and beautiful foliage! Our guide Greg was incredibly experienced and knowledgable and really made the tour terrific!
