This was such an amazing experience! But what made it even more special was our tour guides, Paul and June! Paul was hilarious! My family hasn’t stopped talking about his jokes yet! You can sense the genuine love that Paul has for the island and dogs. He went the extra mile to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves. He made us feel like family! Paul is extremely knowledgeable, he taught us so much about the island! Paul, we lava you!!! (You’ll catch that if he’s your tour guide)

Greg was the most informed tour guide we have ever had. The tour was amazing and the stops breath taking. When I first came to Hawaii, I was kind of unimpressed, but it was because I hadn’t experienced the island. Greg shared history, culture, stories, mythology, all of it!! You could tell how much he loved the island through the tour we received. I feel like I learned so much on this tour and I wish I could remember all of it, but definitely left us with stories and experiences we will never forget!! Just an incredible day!!

Amazing experience! ★★★★★Make this tour the first thing you do when you get to Hawaii. It exposes you to so much of the Hawaiian cutler and landscape. Our tour guide, ”Kiki” (shortened version), was the best I’ve ever encountered. Very knowledgeable, awesome personal interaction, and you could feel that he truly wanted us to take away memories and knowledge from this experience, not just reading from a script. This was a really great tour! We were able to spend 15 to 20 minutes at most locations and almost 2 hours at the waterfall. The shorter stops were enough for pictures and a little exploring. Do this early in your visit to the Island to help determine where you want to spend more time! The lunch stop was delicious. We had THE BEST tour guide in PE! We did the circle tour around Oahu including a stop at Waimea Valley, and it was awesome! The tour includes numerous stops all around the island, and includes one of the best tour-provided lunches I’ve ever had. I highly recommend getting the fried coconut shrimp 😉 Our guide was Monique, who’s very knowledgeable on the history, flora and fauna of Oahu. She also took great care of the group. This was an excellent tour, we visited Valley of the Temples, specifically the Byodo Temple, visiting numerous beaches, even stopping to see a monk seal relaxing on the beach. Had a delicious shrimp lunch and ended at the Dole plantation. The Circle Island Adventure Tour was an unforgettable experience. Our tour operator, Steve, was informative, immersive, and engaging. From our first contact, to the tour of the Temples, to Sunset Beach, the North Shore, the Dole Plantation, and all in between, we were able to enjoy Oahu from a different perspective. To add to this great tour, we were able to see an Hawaiian Monk seal resting on the beach, Sea turtles basking in the sun, and a surf tournament at the North Shore-talk about an adventure packed day! My husband and I did the tour with Eric and it was a great experience. Beautiful scenery and environment. Eric was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna on the walk, as well as giving us a brief overall view of Hawaii itself. He was also very transparent about what to expect on the tour and of the waterfall (it’s the dry season right now and the waterfall wasn’t massively flowing but it was still a beautiful site and peaceful place). The walk to the falls had so many beautiful picturesque scenes that is was easy to convince oneself that you were truly in another country in the middle of the jungle. Our guide was also very knowledgeable about the types of vegetation that we saw on the hike. He was able to correctly identify which plants were in-fact imported to the island and which were originally found on the island. The walk was not that difficult at all. I encourage everyone to wear proper footwear and bring some water. The waterfall was flowing but not a lot. It was still very beautiful, well worth the walk. Please be respectful of the Hawaiian history and culture. Take in the scenes and ambiance of the entire ordeal but do not desecrate the area. I urge all to take the time and learn a little about the Hawaiian culture, that way you will have a higher level of respect for the entire island chain. Xavier August 25, 2019
